PlayStation India Boss Says Not to Worry About PS4-Exclusives

During E3 2015, we saw glimpses of some of the PlayStation 4-exclusive titles that will be coming out this year and next year, and while Microsoft may have showed off a few more exclusive AAA titles than Sony did, PlayStation India Boss Atindriya Bose says not to worry.

In a recently interview with GamingBolt, Bose talked about some of the upcoming PS4-exclusives, including Until Dawn, which comes out tomorrow, and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. He mentioned that Sony has a few big exclusives lined-up in between those two games, and said that he believes Sony’s third-party partnerships are “very strongly in place.”

We had releases in the past that have been exclusive to the PlayStation 4 including successful remasters such as The Last of Us and at the same time building up to Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, we have a good 3-4 titles that will be coming up.

Then we also have Until Dawn which is coming up. Then between Until Dawn and Uncharted 4, there are quite a few releases but they may not be specific to the Indian market like Tearaway Unfolded. Tearway has a very unique concept, we will bring it here and test it out but we will have to see how it pans out.

So we have 3-4 new titles coming up along with remastered games. There is The Uncharted Collection that we are talking about and is already available for pre-order. Along with that, if you see our third party partnerships, Batman Arkham Knight did so well on the PlayStation 4, this was further supported with significant numbers that we did with the Batman bundle. So I feel we have our partnerships very strongly in place.
