Persona fans can look forward to hearing live performances of the franchise’s well-liked music at the 2015 Tokyo Game Show. The show will feature popular artists including Yumi Kawamura and the below-featured Lotus Juice.
Here’s a true fact: I was writing up a Tokyo Game Show predictions piece, and one of them was that Sega’s stage show gets “suddenly” disrupted by a masked intruder, and somehow or other we end up with a Persona 5 release date. I guess that prediction got a little more plausible now that there’s an actual Persona presence at the show. Welp, I’m still gonna leave it in the thing, if I ever publish it. Not sure if such an announcement will happen on this stage or before it though. I feel like the press-only days might be when the shit goes down.
Oh, right, the stage show. Um, it’s on Sept. 19 from 2:30 – 3:30pm JST (which is 3:30 – 4:30am EST). The Tokyo Game Show itself will have been in full swing for two and a half days at that point, as it begins on the 17th. I will be there, and I will burn my dread.
