Sony TGS 2015 Press Conference – What We Want to See and It’s Not Much

Having opted to forego a press event during last month’s gamescom, Sony is fresh and ready for Tokyo Game Show 2015. Kicking off the yearly event a little early, the Japanese giant is primed to place a laser focus on its homegrown talent, with a media showcase slated for Tuesday, September 15 at 4:00pm local time (12:00 a.m. PST/3:00 a.m. EST).

Before the doors of the Makuhari Messe swing open and the public can go hands on with a slew of titles, Sony will take to the stage to likely discuss its biggest releases, Project Morpheus and all things PlayStation. But what of the yet-to-be-revealed tidbits keeping the PlayStation Faithful on tenterhooks?

E3 may still be the industry’s marquee trade show year in year out, but with PlayStation Experience and Paris Games Week on the calendar, Sony is beginning to leverage its announcements over multiple events. If E3 2015 was a potent blast of nostalgia, then what could TGS 2015 herald?

For the sake of perspective, last year severed up Tomorrow Children, Dragon Quest Heroes, Resident Evil HD and Resident Evil Revelations 2. In 2015, well, now’s time to dust off those crystal balls.
