When a rumor popped up yesterday that suggested The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt developer CD Projekt Red was in talks to sell the company or partner with EA, Community Lead Marcin Momot tweeted:

Because the rumor gained more traction than they expected, CD Projekt Red Co-Founder Marcin Iwinski then issued a full statement to Eurogamer, confirming they aren’t in talks with anyone about selling anything:
We usually don’t comment on rumors but this one has become quite viral and we think it deserves to be put to bed. We are not talking with anyone regarding selling CD Projekt Red or GOG.com. Period. And the payslip is a fake – it was not issued by our company.
