Editor’s Letter: Multi-Platform News on PlayStation LifeStyle Feedback

September 18, 2015Written by Alex Co

It’s been quite some time since my last Editor’s Letter to the PlayStation LifeStyle faithful, so bear with me if this edition is a bit longer than usual.

How would you, our PlayStation LifeStyle readers, feel about us posting multi-platform coverage? Hold on! Before anyone tunes out and complains, hear me out. We’re not talking about posting Xbox or Nintendo news, reviews and such. Far from it.

If this were to become a thing, and yes, it’s definitely not a thing yet, what I had in mind was the site covering only the biggest multi-platform gaming news AND putting a PlayStation slant to it. Say for example, Microsoft announces something or does something very noteworthy, we can report on it and have a “PlayStation LifeStyle’s Take,” which would talk about the news from a PlayStation fan’s perspective.

And I want to make it clear: we aren’t even considering reviewing games not part of the PlayStation family. That bit above is as far as it goes.

We can either have it show up on the front page, or filter it for those who just want pure PlayStation goodness.

Another road we  can take if that one above isn’t really what the PSLS demographic wants, is compiling the week’s biggest multi-platform news and then giving our take on it. It can either be a video, an article or a mix of both.

Does that sound good? Not a fan? Either way, I’d love to hear what you have to say. Leave a comment below, message our Facebook page, send me a tweet, or an email — any which way works! I do want to hear what the community has to say, and I’m looking forward to everyone’s feedback.
