PSN Down on PS4 & PS3, Sony Confirms (Update)

Sony has now updated the PSN Status Page to say, “All services are up and running.”

After Bungie confirmed that there were issues with Destiny on PlayStation 4, and Ubisoft confirmed there are issues with their titles, Sony has confirmed that the PlayStation Network is down right now on PS4 and PlayStation 3.

Here’s the full extent of the outage as of 12:45pm PT/3:45pm ET:

Account Management (PS4, PS3)

You may have some difficulty signing in or creating an account on PlayStation Network. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience.

Gaming and Social (PS4, PS3)

You may have some difficulty launching games, applications, or online features. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience.

PlayStation Video (PS4, PS3)

You may have some difficulty accessing PlayStation Video content. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience.

PlayStation Store (PS4, PS3)

You may have some difficulty accessing features and products on the PlayStation Store. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience.

You should still be able to Purchase on the PlayStation Store, as well as Search and redeem vouchers.

The Ask PlayStation Twitter account adds, “We’re aware that PSN is experiencing connectivity issues. Thanks for your patience as we investigate.”

Bungie says, “We’re aware of players on PlayStation 4 encountering issues connecting to Destiny and are currently investigating. Please standby.”

Meanwhile, Ubisoft is “aware of server issues currently impacting multiple online services” and their “team is working to resolve this as quickly as possible.”
