PSN Down on PS4 & PS3, Sony Status Page Confirms (Update)

Quickly fixing the issues once again, Sony’s PSN Status Page now says everything is back up and running.

As of 12:35pm PT/3:35pm ET, Sony has announced that the PlayStation Network is currently down on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, with issues affecting the following features:

Gaming and Social (PS4, PS3)

You may have some difficulty launching games, applications, or online features. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience.

PlayStation Video (PS4, PS3)

You may have some difficulty accessing PlayStation Video content. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience.

PlayStation Vue (PS4, PS3)

You may have some difficulty accessing some channels and features in PlayStation Vue. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience.

PlayStation Store (PS4, PS3)

You may have some difficulty accessing features and products on the PlayStation Store. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience.

Ask PlayStation says, “Engineers are investigating issues with the PSN connectivity; thanks for your patience.”

Bungie Help adds, “We are aware of issues impacting some players’ ability to sign into Destiny on PlayStation 4. Standby for additional updates.”

The PSN has been down a couple times over the last week. Those downtimes have only last about 30 minutes, so hopefully these issues are resolved quickly.
