Japanese Sales Chart: PS4 Continues Its Reign in 1st, The Phantom Pain Crosses 400,000 on PS4

For a third straight week since its price dropped, the PlayStation 4 was first in hardware sales, dropping by just a few thousand units week-over-week to finish at 25,700. This places it well ahead of the New 3DS LL in 2nd, which remained steady at 17,900.

Over in software, 7th Dragon III Code: VFD for 3DS took home top spot after debuting at 72,500, while Extreme Dimension Tag Blanc + Neptune VS Zombie Army on PlayStation Vita opened in 4th with 20,000 sold.

There was also a big milestone reached last week, with the PS4 version of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain crossing 400,000 lifetime.
