Mortal Kombat HD was once a thing, but things don’t always go as planned. Creator Ed Boon has shared an image from the cancelled game on Twitter, which you can see above, and has said that one of these days he will write an article explaining what really happened to Mortal Kombat HD.
In a subsequent tweet, Boon said, “Yea, lots of stories. Lots of thrown out work too. :(”
Looks like it won’t be a very pleasant read, but I’m certainly curious now. Would our readers have played Mortal Kombat HD if it wasn’t cancelled?
