Device Allows You to Use an Xbox One Elite Controller on Your PS4

November 11, 2015 Written by Alex Co

While accessories that let you use a controller from another gaming platform to another has existed since the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 generation, this new device lets you use Microsoft’s insanely expensive Xbox One Elite controller on your PS4.

Developed by CronusMAX, the CronusMAX PLUS has a new firmware update that lets gamers who prefer the Xbox One’s analog layout — or the Xbox One Elite’s configurable setup — to be used on the PS4. Why? Well, some gamers do prefer the Xbox and its weirdly placed analog sticks compared to the DualShock 4. Check out the video above to see it in action.

With the CronusMAX PLUS priced at $59.95 and the Xbox One Elite controller at $149.99, you’re going to have to spend a lot just to get some of that Xbox One Elite controller action on your PS4. Is it worth it? I honestly can’t say since I’ve never used an Xbox One Elite controller. Our sister site Game Revolution has a preview/impressions piece on it, which you might want to give a go if you’re planning on getting the CronusMAX PLUS for the Elite controller.

You can buy the CronusMAX PLUS here, or if you’re in Asia, check it out via their distributor.

Anyone up for this? Don’t forget that you can reconfigure each button on your DualShock 4 via your PS4 at anytime and best of all. it’s free.
