Koch Media, a publisher and the parent company of Deep Silver, announced today that they’ve signed a global distribution and co-publishing agreement with developer and publisher Codemasters. With the partnership, Koch Media will be the sole distributor of Codemasters 2016 titles in EMEA, as well as the exclusive co-publisher in the Americas.
Koch Media CEO Klemens Kundratitz said:
We are very excited to re-start a wide-reaching business partnership with Codemasters. Codemasters will complement our roster of AAA games from Deep Silver, Square-Enix, Sega and many other strategic partners. As part of the deal, our physical and digital distribution power combined will bolster some of the finest racing games ever produced.
Codemasters CEO Frank Sagnier added:
With a great line up of new titles combined with Koch Media’s large distribution network and territory knowledge behind us, we are confident of a very successful 2016.
Further details of the deal weren’t given, but it could be good news for a PlayStation 4/Xbox One release of Dirt Rally. Codemasters is also working on F1 2016, which should be out next year.
