Dying Light Season Pass, The Following Expansion Getting Price Increases

With Dying Light: The Following almost reaching its final stage of development – main quests, side quests, new skills, and driving challenges are ready, with polish up next – developer Techland has revealed that the Dying Light Season Pass and The Following expansion will be raising in price.

Saying The Following is big enough to be a standalone title – but won’t be because it would cause a launch delay – Techland is raising the price from $14.99 to $19.99/€19.99/£15.99 “due to the increased scale of the project.”

As for the Dying Light Season Pass, which includes access to The Following when it launches in Q1 2016, Techland is raising the price from $19.99 to $29.99/€29.99/£23.99 on December 8:

Starting December 8, 2015, the Season Pass will be sold at $29.99. We didn’t want this to come as a surprise to you, so we’re announcing it in advance. This price change will not affect players who already own the Season Pass.

So if you’re looking forward to Dying Light: The Following, you still have time to get the whole Season Pass package, including the expansion, at only $19.99. Just remember to do it before Dec 8.

Techland also teased that they have “some cool reveals” about what’s in The Following coming up really soon.

So, if you don’t currently own the Season Pass, get it from the PlayStation Store before December 8 to save $10. If you live in North America, you can also use the 10% off discount code before December 1.
