Street Fighter V Beta Gets a 2.2GB Update, Next Test Scheduled to Start December 17

Ahead of another beta period later this month, Capcom has updated the Street Fighter V beta application on PlayStation 4 and PC.

Now at version 1.06, the latest update is over 2.2GB and, according to the PS4’s Update History, “fixed various issues.”

As for when you’ll be able to next play the beta, Event Hubs spotted an ad on the PlayStation Store that said, “Pre-order for Battle Costume Chun-Li, online beta access. Dates: December 17 – 20,” meaning it will be back up and running in a couple of weeks.

We don’t know who you’ll be able to fight as in the next beta test, so stay tuned for more details.

If you’re headed to PlayStation Experience this weekend though, Capcom will have the PS4 version playable in their booth, letting you play with all of the characters announced so far, including Dhalsim, Karin, Rashid, Laura and 11 other fighters.

Street Fighter V launches on February 16, 2016 in North America and Europe for PS4 and PC.
