Bloodborne Producer Will “Try My Best to Deliver an Ambitious Title in 2016”

After launching a big game in 2015, Bloodborne Producer Teruyuki Toriyama told 4Gamer in a recent interview that Sony Japan Studio is looking to deliver an ambitious title next year:

I will try my best to deliver an ambitious title in 2016, so please support SCE Japan Studio from now on.

In addition to Bloodborne, Toriyama has been a Producer on Soul Sacrifice and Soul Sacrifice Delta. If the “ambitious title” has already been announced, Toriyama could be talking about Gravity Rush 2 or The Last Guardian.

That same 4Gamer feature about the 2016 plans for Japanese creators included Soul Sacrifice Director Teruhiro Shimokawa, who said, “I’ll do my best to announce a project I’m involved with next year.”

Additionally, The Last Guardian’s Fumito Ueda said they’ll share more information about the game “leading toward its release, so please hold out a little longer.”

4Gamer also spoke with a number of other Japanese creators about their 2016 plans. Some of the highlights include Idea Factory and Compile Heart Game Development Chief Norihisa Kochiwa teasing new game announcements for the first half of 2016; Grasshopper’s Goichi Suda saying he’ll finally release Let It Die in 2016; Koei Tecmo General Producer Keiko Erikawa saying they’ll announce new titles that go back to their original intentions; CyberConnect2 teasing “various surprises” for their 20th anniversary; Nippon Ichi President Sohei Niikawa saying they’ll continue releasing new IP; and Marvelous Producer Kenichiro Takaki teasing new Senran Kagura series news.
