The VOTE: Did Gaming in 2015 Meet Your Expectations, and Are You Excited for 2016?

The VOTE allows you, the PSLS community, to cast your vote and determine once and for all which choice is definitively better. This is for all the marbles, and any other voting sort of analogies that you can think of. Feel free to discuss your choice in the comments below, but remember to keep it civil. We’ll have new votes every Wednesday, with results from the prior week posted at that time, so be sure to check back and make your voice heard.

Last week we wanted to know if PlayStation and video games were going to be a part of your holiday celebration. 32% of you said you were giving and getting, 13% said you were just giving, 41% were pretty sure they were getting video game gifts, and the final 14% of you said there weren’t going to be any kind of video game gifts this holiday. Did that pan out as you thought it would?

It’s the final VOTE of the year before 2016, so we’re wrapping all of 2015 into a pretty little bow and asking if 2015 in gaming met your expectations. It was full of both ups and downs, broken games, terrible developers, returns of awesome franchises, and more. So, did it meet expectations? As a follow up question, we also want to know your outlook on 2016. Is next year looking to be an exciting year for gaming, or are your expectations lowered for what seems like it will be the year of VR focus (and hopefully those first and second party Sony games we’re lacking!)? It’s time to send 2015 off with a resounding VOTE!

2015 certainly had its ups and downs, but did it meet your expectations? And are you excited for what gaming in 20… in PlayStation LifeStyle’s Hangs on LockerDome
