The VOTE: How Much Would You Pay for PlayStation VR?

The VOTE allows you, the PSLS community, to cast your vote and determine once and for all which choice is definitively better. This is for all the marbles, and any other voting sort of analogies that you can think of. Feel free to discuss your choice in the comments below, but remember to keep it civil. We’ll have new votes every Wednesday, with results from the prior week posted at that time, so be sure to check back and make your voice heard. 

Our last vote of 2015 asked if you were satisfied with gaming in 2015, and if you are excited for gaming in 2016. To keep things simple, here’s the general breakdown of how that poll turned out, but it looks like vast majority of you are positive gamers. 

2015: Yes; 2016: Yes – 71%

2015: Yes; 2016: No – 4%

2015: No; 2016: Yes – 17%

2015: No; 2016: No – 8%

Alright, so who are the 8% that are the negative Nancys of the group?

What would the first VOTE of 2016 be without tapping into what’s looking to be the biggest thing in 2016? Of course I’m talking about VR, and with Oculus announcing their price point at $600, speculation has been rampant as to what Sony will price their headset at. The big question isn’t what they will actually price it at, but more what gamers are willing to spend to get the VR experience. What would you be willing to pay for PlayStation VR? Remember, you are voting for the most that Sony could announce it for and still have you purchase it, even if it’s more than you would like to pay.
