Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan Releases in Summer 2016, Debut Trailer Revealed

Set for release in summer 2016 through retail and digital stores, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan was officially announced by Activision and developer Platinum Games today.

Coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC, Mutants in Manhattan is a third-person action game where the Heroes in a Half-Shell must protect New York from aliens, mutants, and the Foot Clan. Featuring a single-player campaign and online co-op for up to four players, you’ll be able to battle iconic battles like Bebop, Rocksteady, Shredder, and more.

Director Eiro Shirahama added:

We’ve put a lot more into this game than just combat: you can climb walls, glide along wires, and there’s a lot of freedom of movement that ties into the action. With this game, players will be able to feel like they’re the Turtles themselves, running, grinding, and gliding around NYC to prevent crimes.

Mutants in Manhattan includes an original story from Tom Waltz, and each Turtle has a distinctive play-style and can be customized with a unique set of Ninjutsu moves, combat items, and special bonuses.

According to Amazon, Mutants in Manhattan will cost $49.99 on PS4/XB1 and $39.99 on PS3/360.
