Latest Beyond Flesh and Blood Trailer Pegs Sci-Fi Shooter for Q2 2016 Release

Space is easy, prepare for Earth. Developer Pixelbomb has showcased the latest gameplay trailer for sci-fi shooter Beyond Flesh and Blood.

Due to hit PS4 and PC in Q2 2016, a retail version of the title will be handled by Sold Out. Priced at £29.99, the company’s CEO Garry Williams heaped praises on Pixelbomb’s futuristic shooter, which he believes to be “one of the major releases of 2016.”

“Pixelbomb Games has highlighted its drive and ambition as a studio, and as developer, has been quietly building a top quality Mech shooter. Sold Out were blown away by Beyond Flesh and Blood at Insomnia56, and the latest version of the game has looked and played even better than we could ever have hoped to see. We just had to strap Sold Out’s boxed sales machine to their digital engine, as this unique Mech shooter is going to be one of the major releases of 2016.”

Whisking players to the year 2281, Beyond Flesh and Blood imagines an earth ravaged by a global war for resources, with engineer Ethan Cunningham tasked with hunting the “secrets of a dark and hostile 23rd century world.”

Beyond Flesh and Blood will launch for PS4 and PC in Q2 2016. A VR version is also in the works, though it’s unclear as of yet which platforms will be compatible come release.
