Japanese Sales Chart: Dragon Quest Builders Launch Helps PS Vita Outsell PS4, 3DS

It was a strong opening for Dragon Quest Builders in Japan, moving a combined 372,000 copies across all three PlayStation platforms.

The PlayStation Vita version of Dragon Quest Builders was #1 overall for the week, moving 178,000 units. It was followed by the PlayStation 4 version in 2nd at 141,000, Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash for Wii U in 3rd at 55,000, and the PlayStation 3 version in 4th at 53,000.

Thanks to Dragon Quest Builders, PS Vita system sales rose by 30,000 to 45,000, putting it ahead of the surging PS4 and falling New 3DS LL.
