No Man’s Sky Release Date Is June 21 on PS4 & PC

After the pre-order leak earlier this week, Sony and Hello Games  have confirmed that No Man’s Sky will be releasing for PlayStation 4 on June 21 in North America and June 22 in Europe through retail and digital stores for $59.99. A PC launch will happen on June 21.

Here’s the description:

Embark on an epic voyage to the centre of a boundless universe, where entire galaxies lay waiting to be discovered. Be the first to land on beautiful, unknown planets teeming with life. Survive hazardous environments, where alien civilizations seek their fortune and outlaws take it by force.

Your universe awaits.

Hello Games’ Sean Murray also confirmed that there will likely be post-launch support for No Man’s Sky:

Most importantly, [the retail version] gives us the best chance possible to keep supporting the game for free after it is released. No Man’s Sky will launch as a complete game in June, but there’s a lot we’d like to add post-launch, if we can.

In North America and Europe, a No Man’s Sky Limited Edition for $79.99 will include the game, steelbook, art book, comic, and more:

Chandler recently had the chance to play No Man’s Sky and speak with Murray. In the preview/interview, Chandler asked Murray how long the newly revealed alien NPCs had been in the game. “We were actually trying to make that kind of stuff work,” he replied. “It added a lot to the game, but for a long time it didn’t quite fit, it didn’t quite mesh with the game.”

Will you be getting No Man’s Sky this June?
