CD Projekt RED recently held a conference call to share its financial results and strategy, in which the developer revealed that its upcoming RPG, Cyberpunk 2077, will be a lot bigger than The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and that the title’s world premiere isn’t a long way away now.

In the same conference call, the studio also revealed that it’s working on another AAA RPG, which it will develop and release between 2017 and 2021 alongside Cyberpunk 2077. But that’s not all. Managing Director, Adam Badowski, also revealed that CD Projekt RED is currently working on a new type of video game format that the team hasn’t explored before.

Speaking of The Witcher, the franchise has sold over 20 million copies to date, and 50.2% of The Witcher 3‘s revenue came from digital sales.

Going forward, CD Projekt RED will expand with four individual development teams, and the studio will work on expanding its core franchises with additional media content and product lines.
