2D Platformer No Time to Explain Jumps to PS4 on March 29

A 2D platformer with a twist, No Time to Explain is coming to PlayStation 4 on March 29 in North America and Europe for $14.99, tinyBuild announced today.

The twist in No Time to Explain is that your weapon is also your means of movement. “You can fire the cannon at giant enemies to kill them, but you can also fire it at the floor to boost yourself into the air,” tinyBuild CEO Alex Nichiporchik explained. “This allows you to leap high walls, dodge around deadly obstacles, and generally try to stay alive.”

Despite being an extremely silly game that becomes increasingly more ridiculous – sometimes your weapon will change, your hero will morph, or the world around you will make no sense – No Time to Explain is also extremely difficult and “you will die over and over again.”

Playable with up to four players, No Time to Explain hides secrets in the most challenging places in the form of hats. “Wanna play through the game as a fox? A dinosaur? A pirate? Why not balance a hotdog on your head? Why not just take all the hats you’ve unlocked and balance them all on top of each other?” Nichiporchik asks.

What do you think of No Time to Explain?
