Japanese Sales Chart: PS4 Wins Another Week, Divinity Is the Biggest New Release

In a down week all around, Yo-kai Sangokushi and Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 for 3DS were the only titles to sell over 9,000 copies, finishing in 1st and 2nd on the software chart. Dark Souls 3 and Far Cry Primal on PlayStation 4 then battled it out for third place, with Dark Souls 3 winning by just 28 copies.

As for new releases, Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition on PS4 debuted in 8th, moving 6,200 copies. Further down the chart, Republique and Skullgirls 2nd Encore on PS4 placed in 16th and 17th, respectively.

Despite the slow week, PS4 hardware sales remained over 20,000, giving the console another first place finish.
