Rocket League Hoops Mode Update, NBA Flag Pack Arrive on April 26

Psyonix announced today that the free Rocket League update adding Hoops Mode on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC will be released on April 26.

The above trailer gives you an idea of what to expect from Hoops Mode, with Psyonix calling it a “dynamic basketball twist to our classic soccer-meets-driving gameplay:”

Following the positive community reaction to the “Snow Day” Hockey Mode released late last year, Psyonix’s new Hoops mode adds a dynamic basketball twist to the wildly-successful soccer-meets-driving concept. In addition to the mode itself, Rocket League Hoops will also come with a FREE new arena called “Dunk House,” where the net itself can be used as a ramp for the ball, and Aerials and wall-play is the key to victory.

The Hoops update also includes an NBA logo flag that can be equipped in any mode.

If you want to get more NBA flags, April 26 also sees the release of the NBA Flag Pack, which costs $1.99 USD and includes the logos of all 30 NBA teams as flags.

More details about next week’s update will be revealed over the coming days.

Rocket League recently crossed 14 million players, and will hit retail stores on July 5.
