Beginning today at 10am PT/1pm ET, and ending on Monday, May 9, at 10am PT/1pm ET, Treyarch is hosting a double Cryptokey weekend in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Treyarch said, “It’s been a week of celebrations…pace yourself, because we’re going to keep it rolling with a 2x Cryptokey Weekend!”

For those of you unfamiliar with Cryptokeys, Activision explains everything you need to know on the Call of Duty website:

The Cryptokeys earned in Multiplayer matches can be exchanged in the Black Market for Supply Drops. Once you enter the Black Market, the Vendor will give you two options:

  • You can trade 10 Cryptokeys for a Common Supply Drop. A Common Supply Drop gives you a chance for an item of any rarity.
  • For 30 Cryptokeys, you can open a Rare Supply Drop – which guarantees a rare or better item.

When you open any Supply Drop, you’ll earn 3 items. These items will be one of 4 rarities: Common, Rare, Legendary or Epic.

If you haven’t booted up Black Ops 3 recently, update 1.10 will need to be downloaded before jumping online. This new patch includes fixes, improvements, and Music Tracks.

Will you be playing Black Ops 3 this weekend?
