Dark Souls 3 Shipments Reach Three Million

Bandai Namco revealed today that Dark Souls 3 has shipped three million copies worldwide on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, with the Dark Souls series over 13 million shipped worldwide.

For a region breakdown, 1.5 million copies of Dark Souls 3 were shipped in North America, one million were shipped in Europe, and 500,000 were shipped in Japan.

Looking at the other Dark Souls games shortly after launch, Dark Souls was at 1.5 million shipped, while Dark Souls 2 was at 1.2 million shipped.

In other Dark Souls 3 news, the Steam Achievements show that nearly 10% of owners have yet to light the first bonfire, over 13% of players have yet to beat the first boss, and less than 1% of players have completed all achievements.
