Homefront: The Revolution Day One Update Includes Improvements, PS4 Pre-Loading Starts May 15

With Homefront: The Revolution releasing next week on May 17 in North America and May 20 in Europe for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, Deep Silver has detailed what you can expect for launch.

Looking at pre-loading, it’s already available for PC and Xbox One, and will be available for PS4 on May 15 during the day in North America and on May 19 at 1pm BST/2pm CEST in Europe. According to the PlayStation Store, Homefront is a 28.2GB/32.2GB download, depending on your region.

Here’s when Homefront: The Revolution will unlock for digital buyers:

PlayStation 4

  • PlayStation Network US: May 17, midnight ET
  • PlayStation Network EU: May 20, midnight CEST

Xbox One

  • North, Central, and South America: May 17, midnight. Regional exceptions: North America unlocks on midnight Eastern Time, Mexico unlocks midnight Central Time.
  • Rest of the World: May 20, midnight local time for your Microsoft Account region.

PC

  • North, Central, and South America: May 17, 10 AM Pacific Time.
  • Rest of the World: May 20, midnight CEST / May 19, 11 PM BST.

There will also be a day one Homefront: The Revolution update to “address additional last fixes and performance improvements across all platforms.” Deep Silver strongly recommends downloading the update before you start playing for the best experience.
