During GameStop’s recent earnings call, COO Tony Bartel revealed that Ready at Dawn’s (The Order: 1886) next game will be revealed next week:

We have several other games slated for release over the next year, in fact, next week we will be announcing our second game under development with Ready at Dawn.

GameTrust, GameStop’s publishing division, is already working with Insomniac Games on Song of the Deep, and their other partners include Frozenbyte and Tequila Works.

According to Ready at Dawn’s job listings, the announcement will likely either be for a multi-platform AAA third-person action title or an Oculus title:

Ready At Dawn is looking for talented and passionate developers to help us push the boundaries of gameplay, art and story-telling. We are in the pre-production phase of an exciting new AAA third-person action console title, based on a brand new original IP we are creating. In addition, we are also in full production on a cutting edge VR experience, in partnership with Oculus. Our team is growing, so come join one of the preeminent independent video-game developers in the world.

As we learned last year, Ready at Dawn was planning to release games for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Their previous game, The Order: 1886, was on its way to reaching Ready at Dawn’s sales target in June, and it’s something they’re very proud of.
