NBA 2K17 Launches on September 20, Pre-Order to Receive Early Access on September 16

2K announced today that NBA 2K17 will be released on September 20 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.

By pre-ordering NBA 2K17 in North America, you’ll receive 5,000 Virtual Currency, MyTEAM Bundle (includes 3 packs with guaranteed Paul George Free Agent card), more items to be revealed at a later date, and early access to the game on Friday, September 16.

2K also revealed that Indiana Pacers shooting guard Paul George will be the cover athlete for the standard edition. “I have been playing NBA 2K as long as I can remember, and to be honored as cover athlete of NBA 2K17 is a blessing and vote of confidence that my hard work on and off the court has paid off,” George said. “I’m excited to partner with 2K and hope to help take the franchise to the next level.”

In addition to the $79.99 Legend Edition, Kobe Bryant will also be on the cover of the $99.99 NBA 2K17 Kobe Bryant Legend Edition Gold, which includes all of the regular Legend Edition contents, as well as the following:

  • 70,000 additional Virtual Currency (100,000 total)
  • 2 Additional MyTEAM packs (with guaranteed MJ Free Agent card)
  • Nike Kobe shoe collection
  • Special Kobe lenticular cover insert

In other NBA 2K news, NBA 2K16 will be one of the PlayStation 4 PlayStation Plus free games for June.
