Given a 2016 launch window at last year’s E3, CI Games announced today that Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 will now be released on January 27, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
After CI Games said that the “extra months will help ensure that the quality of the game meets fans’ – and the team’s – lofty expectations,” CEO Marek Tymiñski added that the extra development will be worth it:
As we got close to the finish, we realized we were near the target but still needed a bit more time to hone some of the details to make sure Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is exceptional. We sincerely appreciate players’ patience and commitment to the game. It’s just a few more months. And it’s going to be worth it.
