Japanese Sales Chart: PS4 Back at #1, Root Letter Debuts

It was short-lived time at #1 for the New 3DS LL, as the PlayStation 4 was back on top last week in Japan, moving 20,200 units.

The 3DS managed to capture the first two spots on the software chart though, with the new Taiko Drum Master finishing in first with 32,400 sold, followed by Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice in 2nd with another 25,300 sold.

Hakuoki Shinkai: Hana no Shou for PlayStation Vita was the highest-charting new PlayStation game, moving 10,500 copies.

Root Letter, meanwhile, sold a combined 8,900 copies on PS4 and PS Vita. A visual novel, Root Letter will come to North America and Europe later this year.
