Livelock is releasing on August 2 in North America and Europe for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, Perfect World Entertainment and developer Tuque Games announced today.
Priced at $19.99, Livelock is a co-operative top-down shooter set in a 22nd century world where machines known as Clusters fight each other endlessly over resources. With humanity having been wiped out in the previous century, you play as a Capital Intellect, a human consciousness uploaded to a large mechanical body.
“Armed with a unique arsenal of weapons and special abilities, the Capital Intellect must fight the corrupted machine Clusters and break the cycle of an infinite war, before humanity is forgotten in the annals of history,” the description adds.
