With the third DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 expected to be announced soon, Activision and Treyarch have teased that it will include a re-imagined version of the Raid map from Black Ops 2.
Saying, “It’s almost time,” the Call of Duty Twitter account offered up the above image. Developer Treyarch added, “Yes…yes, it is…”
Update: Treyarch’s David Vonderhaar added, “It’s RAID, but it’s also not RAID because you don’t have the mantel speed penalties you had in BO2. It’s likely going to play super fast.”
Re-imagined maps are nothing new for Black Ops 3 DLC, as the previous expansion, Eclipse, includes a new version of World at War’s Banzai.
When Activision officially announces Black Ops 3 DLC 3, we’ll let you know. As a reminder, it will be available first to PlayStation 4 players for 30 days.
In other Call of Duty news, Activision offered up some more details on the early access PS4 owners can receive to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered campaign. Available when pre-ordering the Legacy, Digital Legacy, Legacy Pro, or Digital Deluxe editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, the Modern Warfare Remastered campaign will be released on October 5, exclusively for PS4.
They then answer a couple of important questions:
I already pre-ordered the Legacy Edition/Legacy Pro Edition at a retailer, how do I get access to Modern Warfare Remastered Campaign 30 days early?
If you pre-ordered at a participating retailer, you will need to complete your full purchase of the Legacy or Legacy Pro Edition to get access to Modern Warfare Remastered Campaign 30 days early on PS4. Once you complete your purchase of the Legacy or Legacy Pro Edition, your retailer will provide a PlayStation code for the Modern Warfare Remastered Campaign that can be accessed on October 5th.
This offer applies to select retailers only. Check with your retailer to see if they are participating.

If you have pre-purchased the Digital Legacy Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition on the PlayStation Store on PS4, you will automatically be granted access to the Modern Warfare Remastered Campaign on October 5th. You will receive a Notification from PlayStation on your PS4 when the content is ready to be downloaded.
Now that I have pre-purchased the Legacy, Legacy Pro, Digital Legacy or Digital Deluxe Edition, what else do I need to do?
If you pre-purchased through a participating retailer, you will need to input the code you received from your retailer on your PS4. You will receive a Notification from PlayStation on your PS4 when the content is ready to be downloaded.
If you pre-purchased on the PlayStation Store you will automatically be granted access to the Modern Warfare Remastered Campaign on October 5th. You will receive a Notification from PlayStation on your PS4 when the content is ready to be downloaded.
Activision adds that Modern Warfare Remastered multiplayer won’t be available until November 4, your early access campaign progress won’t be reset and will carry over to the full game, and, once November 4 rolls around, the early access period will end and you’ll need to install the full version of Modern Warfare Remastered.
