Street Fighter V June Update out on July 1, Includes Balrog & Ibuki

In a new trailer today, Capcom revealed that the Street Fighter V June Update will arrive on Friday, July 1 at 12:01am PT, and new fighter Balrog will be included.

The end of the trailer also teases Juri and Urien, who will be playable in the Cinematic Story Expansion and are expected to release on their own by the end of September 2016.

Here’s what you need to know about Balrog’s moves:

V-Skill: KKB

A unique move that twirls his body while moving forward. While activated, you can dodge projectiles as well as string together attacks. You can even activate KKB before a special hits you, allowing you to be a technical inside fighter.

V-Trigger: Crazy Rush

A chance to be the aggressor when activated! Steam rises from his body and allows you to string together specials like Charging Buffalo and Bursting Buffalo.

Critical Art: Gigaton Blow

Unleash the fury from your fist with this simple, yet destructive critical art. It can be connected with various moves. Make sure to include it in your combos.

Along with Balrog, the June Update includes the Cinematic Story Expansion, the addition of micro-transactions, plenty of matchmaking improvements, a revival of the Las Vegas stage from Street Fighter II, the ability to purchase Story Mode costumes and premium Battle Costumes, and Ibuki.

When the June Update hits, the free trials for all previously released DLC fighters will end and you’ll need to spend 100,000 Fight Money or $5.99/€5.99 per character to unlock them.
