A retro-futuristic, side-scrolling, action-adventure game set in a world inspired by 70’s science fiction, Headlander is releasing in late July for PlayStation 4 and PC, Double Fine and Adult Swim Games announced today.

Playing as the disembodied head of the last known human in the universe, you work your way through a world of automation, where all of humanity has transferred their minds into robotic imposter bodies and are ruled by a deranged computer. As you can see in the gameplay trailer, you’ll use your special helmet to take control of any robotic host body, looking for clues to your past.
