Bungie Is Working On “Constructs of Action and Adventure” That Will Be Shared in the Coming Months & Years

In their latest weekly update, Bungie said they’re lurking in a grey area, “working to honor your past, sustain your present, and build your future.” While some of these projects were revealed weeks ago (Rise of Iron), and there’s an event next week that will celebrate their fans (Bungie Day on July 7), Bungie adds that they’re also working on “constructs of action and adventure that we’ll share with you in the months (and even years) to come.”

Destiny is a journey, but all journeys have moments that are marked by anticipation more than action,” Bungie says. “Right now? You could say that we’re dark. We have no news to share. But the live game is very much alight.”

Bungie is also planning the next look at Rise of Iron ahead of release on September 20:

If you want to know what we have in store for your future, we’ll ask you to give us a little more time for that future to arrive. This summer will be awesome. But awesome takes planning, with a little patience and time.

If you’re looking to play Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris this weekend, both are live right now.

As for Bungie Day on July 7, they said, “We’ll have some new ways for you to define your legacy and express yourself creatively. “

For PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners of Destiny, Bungie recapped some of the changes: Legacy Consoles will no longer receive major Destiny updates or content releases, Rise of Iron is only coming to PS4 and Xbox One, events such as Trials of Osiris and Iron Banner will no longer be available, and Silver purchases will no longer be available, but you’ll still be able to purchase items from Eververse Trading Co. with previously owned Silver.
