Inside Developer on a Possible PS4 Version: Our Goal Is to Have It in The “Hands of as Many Gamers as Possible”

Released last week on Xbox One, and coming to PC on Thursday, Inside from Playdead is one of the highest-rated games of the year, sitting at a 92 on Metacritic, which is one behind Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

Available “first on Xbox One,” Playdead hasn’t said whether or not Inside will make its way to PlayStation 4 down the road. Speaking with Push Square about a PS4 version though, Playdead hinted at eventually happening:

Our goal is of course to get Inside into the hands of as many gamers as possible, but we can’t say anything about other potential platforms at this point.

Looking at Playdead’s previous game, Limbo, it released first on Xbox 360 in July 2010, before coming to PlayStation 3 in July 2011. Since then, Limbo’s been ported to PS4, PS Vita, PC, Xbox One, and other platforms.

Do you hope to see Inside on PS4?
