Star Wars Death Star DLC

Star Wars Battlefront Developer Reveals a Bit About Upcoming Death Star DLC

The third DLC pack for Star Wars Battlefront will release in a few months, and developer DICE hasn’t said much about it other than it is DLC revolving around the Death Star, hence the name. However, one of the developers on the project tweeted some details about what players should expect with the DLC.

Lead Designer Dennis Brännvall confirmed that the Star Wars Battlefront Death Star DLC will, at the very least, include Imperial customization. When asked if the customization would only be part of the DLC, he answered in the affirmative.

Brännvall also assured another Twitter follower that DICE will look into possibly changing the Darth Vader Force Choke animation. The user complained that after using the Force Choke, it leaves leaves the player a bit vulnerable shortly thereafter.

The Death Star DLC is supposed to be the second to last DLC pack, with the last one releasing in early 2017. And of course, there is the Star Wars Battlefront VR mission coming to PlayStation VR later this year.

Star Wars Battlefront released November 17, 2015. Since then DICE and EA have released both free content packs as well as paid expansions, with the Death Star DLC as the second expansion.
