Japanese Sales Chart: 3DS Outsells PS4 Due to Yokai Watch 3

With the launch of Yo-kai Watch 3 last week in Japan, it’s no surprise that it was the #1 selling game on the software chart, with both versions combining to move 632,000 copies.

Because of Yo-kai Watch 3, sales of the New 3DS LL rose by nearly 7,000, putting it ahead of the PlayStation 4, which moved 20,4000 units and settled for second place on the hardware chart.

Other highlights on the software chart include The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 3rd Evolution for PlayStation Vita debuting in 2nd, with Uppers for PS Vita opening in 7th.
