Warhammer: 40,000 Eternal Crusade’s Console Development Paused

Bandai Namco has announced via a press release that the development of Warhammer: 40,000 Eternal Crusade‘s console versions is being put on hold.

“We are committed to delivering the best experience for the release on September 23rd, with a PC version that matches our ambitions in terms of content and quality and sets the runway for our free lifetime expansions,” said developer Behaviour Interactive. “To pause the development of the console versions was a tough decision but will result in an optimized and extended experience when released.”

Back in January, Bandai Namco announced that it’ll be publishing Eternal Crusade for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC for a Summer release. “Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade appeals to a wide variety of players, bringing a massive playerbase along with third person shooter elements,” said the publisher.

There’s no indication of when the console versions will be out but we’ll update our readers when we have more information.
