The 28th Battleborn character, Ernest, will fly into Battleborn next week, and Gearbox already has plans for the 29th character. This new DLC character will arrive in a couple of months, but Gearbox is ready to show a bit of him now. Get ready to meet Kid Ultra, a new support character ready to buff and heal your team.
Evildoers beware! Kid Ultra is on patrol and ready to defend the universe from pesky, star-sucking, interdimensional jackholes. Hardwired to lend a helping hand, Kid Ultra is the pinnacle of support technology, buffing and healing teammates while subduing enemies. Let’s just hope this LLC technology is a bit more stable than some other nihilistic robots we know.
Like Ernest, Kid Ultra will be part of the Season Pass, in that players with the Season Pass can instantly unlock him using a hero key included in the Pass. Everyone else will be able to buy him with 47,500 credits earned in the game. Gearbox does not have information yet on his abilities or exactly when he will release, but they will announce more closer to his release date. In other words, wait about a month or six weeks and Gearbox will be ready to pass along more info.
