Japanese Sales Chart: PS4 Sales Drop Below 2,000, The Witcher 3 GOTY Debuts in 2nd

In a slow week, Yo-kai Watch 3 was able to claim another first place victory, moving 29,000 copies. It easily defeated the second place game on the chart, The Witcher 3: Game of the Year Edition for PlayStation 4, which debuted to sales of just under 12,000.

Putting it in 5th place – behind the New 3DS and ahead of the PlayStation 3 – PlayStation 4 hardware sales dropped by 4,000 last week, bringing it down to just 1,800. With stores reportedly out of stock ahead of the PS4 Slim announcement expected today, the drop isn’t too much of a surprise.
