Witcher 3 PS4 Pro

With so many popular PS4 titles announcing that they are releasing updates to support the PS4 Pro’s features, what about one of the most popular games from last year, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt? Well, developer CD Projekt RED has “no plans” to release such an update for The Witcher 3.

Reddit user govind1262 sent an e-mail to CD Projekt RED directly to ask if they were going to release a PS4 Pro support patch for the game, and the company did respond with a blunt no. They are rather wrapped up in a little something called Cyberpunk 2077 as well as GWENT: The Witcher Card Game.

Thank you for your feedback and question. I’m afraid that we have no plans to release the PS4 Pro edition for The Witcher 3:Wild Hunt.

Our team is currently working very hard on GWENT: The Witcher Card Game and Cyberpunk 2077. We want to be entirely focused on the development of these projects.

The Witcher 3 looks great already on the PS4, and if you’re going to play it on your PS4 Pro with a 4K or UHD TV, chances are it will look even more amazing than it did in the past.  Also, isn’t it kind of good that this studio is hunkering down with Cyberpunk 2077 instead of an already released game?
