Latest Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Trailer Shows Off Kit Harrington & UFC Champ Conor McGreggor

Infinity Ward is following up its multiplayer and PS4 Pro Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare trailers, with a three-minute long story campaign preview. Click the video above to watch, and be sure to keep an eye out for a couple of familiar faces. Admittedly, Kit “You Know Nothing, Jon Snow!” Harrington is difficult to miss, as he takes center stage as the bad guy. He plays Admiral Salen Kotch of the Settlement Defense Front. Harrington certainly looks the part, with a scar above his left eye and an intimidating army at his back.

UFC champ, Conor McGregor, also makes an appearance in the trailer. A brief clip shows him “saving the bullet,” and beating the crap out of the player instead. He plays Captain Bradley Fillion of the Settlement Defense Front.

The official video description reads:

After a simultaneous surprise attack on UNSA forces in Geneva and the Moon Port Gateway, Lt. Nick Reyes must take the helm of the Retribution, one of Earth’s last remaining warships. In a time of unthinkable adversity, Reyes must lead his trusted crew against the relentless Settlement Defense Front’s plans to dominate all who oppose them.

The freedom of every citizen of Earth is at stake. Take command on November 4th in Infinite Warfare’s campaign.

More story details are included in the official press release:

The game returns to the roots of the series for a classic war story that, for the first time in franchise history, extends beyond the reaches of Earth into the vast expanse of our solar system.

Personally, I think this is a brilliant trailer, and with the amount of YouTube “likes” far outweighing the “dislikes,” it looks like the majority of gamers agree with me. Even if you detest Call of Duty and its current obsession with futuristic warfare, you’ve got to admit this looks cool.
