October 2016 PlayStation Now Additions Include 13 New Horror & Action Games

As part of this year’s Shocktober celebrations, Sony has added 13 new PlayStation 3 horror and action games to PlayStation Now in the United States and Canada. Here’s the full list of new titles available through PS Now starting today:

  • Akiba’s Trip: Undead and Undressed
  • Bladestorm: Nightmare
  • Burn Zombie Burn: The Diarrhea Bundle
  • Castlevania Harmony of Despair
  • Deception: Nightmare Princess IV
  • Ghostbusters Sanctum of Slime
  • House of the Dead 3
  • House of the Dead 4
  • Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City
  • Silent Hill HD Collection
  • The Darkness
  • The House of the Dead Overkill Extended Cut
  • The Witch and the Hundred Knight

There’s over 400 games in total on PlayStation Now and, as of late August, PC is now one of the supported platforms.

Responding to someone who asked if they could use an existing Silent Hill PS3 save file with the PS Now version, Sony’s Brian Dunn said:

I checked on this, and technically it is possible. You will need to take your PS3 save data, load it onto another PS3 with your PSN account, and then upload that save data to your PS Plus cloud storage. Then on your PS4/PC, log into PS Now and then integrate the cloud save into the PS Now version of the game.

And hopefully your save data is from the latest patch version of the game, otherwise it may not work correctly. PS Now uses the latest update for every game.

What games do you hope to see on PS Now in the future?
