Hitman Episode 6: Hokkaido Releases on October 31 for PS4, Xbox One & PC

After bringing out a 7GB update yesterday, Square Enix and developer Io-Interactive announced today that Hitman Episode 6: Hokkaido is releasing on October 31 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The season finale for season one of HitmanEpisode features a mission called Situs Inversus, which is the “culmination of everything players will have learnt in terms of both gameplay and story.”

Set within the grounds of the hyper-exclusive GAMA private hospital and resort in Hokkaido, Japan, Episode 6 has two targets you must locate. Additionally, you can expect new weapon and gear unlocks that can be used across all previous locations, as well as Escalation Contracts, Elusive Targets, and Featured Contracts set in the new location.

Io-Interactive Studio Head Hannes Seifert said:

It was a brave decision to go fully digital episodic with Hitman, fundamentally changing how we make the game, and for us it has been a major success. I want to say a big thank you to all the players for making this possible! Together we’ve built and run the biggest and most replayable locations of any Hitman game and added new live content every single week since launch. And although we’re now completing season one, this is only the beginning for our ever expanding World of Assassination.

Although future seasons of Hitman haven’t been officially announced, Io-Interactive is planning two more.

If you’d prefer to get all of the episodes at retail, The Complete First Season will be available on January 31, 2017.
