Just like they did with Dragon Quest Builders, Square Enix is bringing out a pre-launch demo for World of Fantasy. Available next week on October 17, the free demo will let you play as heroes Reynn and Lann in their Lilikin and Jiant forms, meet different Mirages, and encounter Final Fantasy characters such as Cloud, Lightning, and Squall.
By completing the World of Final Fantasy demo, you’ll be able to battle and capture Magitek Armor P at the coliseum in the full version of the game. Since Square Enix didn’t specify platforms, expect the demo to be available on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
In the above video, you can see the Cinematic Anime Opening, which showcases the new anime art style you’ll see during some of the cutscenes.
World of Final Fantasy releases on October 25 for PS4 and PS Vita. By pre-ordering, you’ll receive an exclusive Sephiroth summon, the Japanese voice-over DLC, and more.
