Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Beta Gets New Map and Mode, Demand Exceeds Expectations

A new map and mode has been added to Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare‘s beta. The new mode is Kill Confirmed and the map is called Precinct, a description of which is as follows:

Set in Japan following the invasion of the Settlement Defense Front, Precinct is a medium-sized map that uses grand interiors and the city’s winding backstreets as primary locations for combat. Focusing on easy targets and enemy recognition, the map supports all play styles while driving front line engagements.

The level cap is at 30 at the moment.

In related news, Infinity Ward has said that the beta has seen a “massive” turnout that “exceeded expectations.” The developer has promised to work on meeting demand and will have an update as soon as possible.

The first round of the beta, which is PlayStation 4-exclusive, ends tomorrow at 10am PDT/5pm GMT. The second round is also open to Xbox One and will take place over the next weekend.
