New PS4 Pro Videos Highlight the Tech Features, Upgraded Games

With just two days to go before PlayStation 4 Pro launches on November 10, Sony has released some new videos for the upgraded console, including two focused on the tech features and upgraded games, and there’s a new 60-second ad starring Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

In the Infinite Warfare ad, Sony puts some fineprint at the end of the video, saying that you’ll need a 4K display to play games in 4K on PS4 Pro. While game resolution differs from title to title, IW is “compatible with dynamic 4K resolution using output upscaling.” The fineprint then adds, “4K Entertainment requires subscription to 4K-compatible content streaming service, a robust internet connection, and a compatible 4K display. PS4 Pro does not support 4K Blu-ray Discs. PS4 Pro provides auto-upscaling for standard Blu-ray Discs.”

As for the PS4 Pro Tech Features video, the description says, “What makes PS4 Pro the most powerful console ever made? We’ve got the details.” The video then highlights the visual enhancements provided on both 4K and 1080p TVs, the benefits to frame-rate, how it has more than double the GPU power of the standard PS4, and how you’ll be able to watch Stranger Things in 4K:
