Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection Gets a PS4 vs PS3 Comparison Video

Out next week on November 15 in North America and November 17 in Europe for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection was given a PS4 vs PS3 comparison video today. It mostly focuses on Assassin’s Creed II, but you’ll also get brief looks at Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed Revelations.

Ubisoft also revealed today that The Ezio Collection is developed in partnership with Virtuos Games (Batman: Return to Arkham, Heavy Rain for PS4), and it features “enhanced graphics that include 1080p resolution, improved draw distance, and a host of improved visual effects to take advantage of the current console generation.”

Along with the single-player campaigns for the three games (and all of the single-player DLC), The Ezio Collection also includes the short films Assassin’s Creed Lineage and Assassin’s Creed Embers. Multiplayer isn’t included in the collection.

Aymar Azaïzia, head of content for Assassin’s Creed, revealed what the most challenging part about production was:

Without hesitation, the ambition behind that trilogy, and the will to be excellent in every aspect. There were a lot of moments, where we were asking ourselves if we were capable of delivering all of that, on time and quality, and every day when you were looking at the build, the game was becoming better and better, and now it seems that those games were made in a flash…

I cherish those moments that helped us craft the franchise.

The next Assassin’s Creed game is in development, but it isn’t guaranteed to release in 2017.
